Each Can-Tech™ cathode can is manufactured in accordance with MSR’s proprietary design using specialised tooling, jigs, fixtures and defined work procedures. Material control, dimensional inspection, welding, assembly and final verification are integrated into the manufacturing process to maintain design intent and repeatable manufacturing quality.
MSR also undertakes the workshop-based assessment, repair and refurbishment of existing cathode cans and base frames, and supplies associated components and spare parts. This supports operators in extending equipment life, maintaining compatibility with installed cell systems and planning replacements around shutdown schedules and plant requirements.
